Terms of Use

Effective October 2, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Tig Tech LLC ("we", "us") for the NutrUp app and this website. By using NutrUp you agree to them. They add to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies. If the two conflict, these terms apply to the extent the law and Apple's rules allow.

1. What NutrUp is, and is not

NutrUp is a food and symptom diary. It shows which foods your logged symptoms tended to follow, based only on what you record. It is not a medical device, it does not give medical advice, and it does not identify or rule out any health condition. Its suggestions, food recognition and results can be wrong or incomplete. Talk to a doctor or other qualified professional before changing your diet or acting on anything you see in the app, and get urgent care for severe or worrying symptoms. You are responsible for how you use NutrUp.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live, or have a parent or guardian's permission.

3. Your license

We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use NutrUp on Apple devices you own or control, under these terms and the App Store's rules. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or misuse the app, except where the law allows it.

4. Free and paid features

Logging meals, confirming foods, logging symptoms and CSV export are free. Results ("Verdicts"), the plan for trying a food again, the clinician report, quick repeat and cloud recognition need a NutrUp Pro subscription.

5. Subscriptions

• Prices in other countries are set in local currency and shown in the App Store before you buy. Prices may include tax.
• New subscribers may get a 1-week free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
• Your subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your iPhone's Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• If we change a price, Apple will tell you in advance, and the new price applies from your next renewal as Apple's rules require.

6. Your data

Your diary belongs to you and is stored on your device. How we handle information is described in the Privacy Policy. Keep your own backups: if you delete the app or lose your device, your diary may be lost, and we cannot recover it.

7. Changes to NutrUp

We may update, change or stop features. If we stop offering NutrUp Pro, we will not renew your subscription.

8. Disclaimers

NutrUp is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not promise that NutrUp will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its results will be correct.

9. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Tig Tech LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any health decision made using NutrUp. Our total liability for any claim about NutrUp is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

10. Ending these terms

You can stop using NutrUp at any time by deleting it and cancelling any subscription. We may end your license if you break these terms.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and tell you in the app about significant changes. Continuing to use NutrUp after a change means you accept it.
